This project focused on building a visual identity for Skidmania using typography as the central design element. I explored scale, rhythm, and contrast to create energy on the page while maintaining clarity and structure. The final piece balances expression with order, reflecting the event’s lively, collaborative spirit.
BEAUTY BLENDER BOOK
A multi-page design exploration transforming an everyday object into a visual narrative through form, structure, and sequencing.
This object project for Communication Design 1 approached the Beauty Blender as both an object and an idea, using layout and visual progression to tell a story about shape, texture, and function. Each spread examines a different facet of the object, creating a rhythm between abstraction and clarity. Through this process I experimented with structure, pacing, and how design can turn something familiar into something newly seen.

Open in new tab This paper examined scholarly perspectives on generational differences in the workplace, focusing on how age cohorts vary in motivation, communication preference, and expectations of leadership. Completed as a literature review for my Foundations of Organizational Behavior course, the project synthesized academic research to build a clearer understanding of how generational patterns shape organizational life. Drawing on organizational behavior research, I analyzed points of alignment and conflict between generations and considered how these differences shape team dynamics and employee experience. The project combined literature synthesis with practical reflection, highlighting the complexity of managing multigenerational environments.

An empirical research project replicating an academic study on gender differences in major choice to assess methodological reliability, interpret statistical outcomes, and evaluate the role of replication in empirical research.

This assignment involved recreating the analysis from Gender Differences in Major Choice: The Importance of Female Role Models, using sample data from 2015 and 2016 to replicate descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, and treatment effect models. Working through each step, including summary statistics, confidence intervals, t tests, difference in proportions, ANOVA, and chi square independence testing, strengthened my understanding of how statistical decisions influence empirical conclusions. The project emphasized transparency, reproducibility, and the importance of interpreting patterns within educational data with care.
